The two marcapo managing directors, Thomas Ötinger and Marc-Stephan Vogt, accepted the award at the awards ceremony held at Schleißheim Palace.

The “Bayerns Best 50” award is presented annually by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy and recognizes the fastest-growing small and medium-sized enterprises in Bavaria. This award honors companies that have experienced particularly strong growth in recent years and have achieved a significant increase in revenue and headcount.
The winners are selected by the independent auditing firm Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG based on objective and transparent criteria:

• Above-average growth: Both revenue and headcount must have increased significantly in recent years.
• Innovative Strength: Companies that have impressed the market with innovative products or services and have thereby been able to expand their market share.
• Sustainability: Companies that stand out for their responsible conduct and sustainable business practices.

The selection process consists of several steps. First, eligible companies are identified and invited to participate in the application process. The final selection and evaluation of the applications is carried out by the auditing firm Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG.
This process ensures that only the best and highest-performing companies are recognized.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) form the backbone of the German economy. They stand for innovation, flexibility, and sustainability.
