The marcapo family: High-performing and growing

Long-standing ties as a key to success

How did these milestones come about? It’s simple: While eleven marcapos were honored for 5 years of service and two employees for 10 years, six employees celebrated 15 years with the company. Such anniversaries naturally honor us as an employer as well, because long-term, dynamic relationships and the personal development of our marcapos are important to us. For this reason, we are constantly evolving—and, of course, we involve all marcapos in this process. Among the various development opportunities are, for example, our Values Days.

Apprenticeships at marcapo: Supporting the Next Generation with a Future

One of our corporate values is “commitment,” and the fact that this isn’t just a buzzword is particularly evident in our apprenticeship program. marcapo only trains “as needed”—that is, we only offer an apprenticeship position when we know we can provide a job after the apprenticeship is complete. In numbers, this commitment means that of this year’s 19 employees celebrating their work anniversaries, 10 have already completed their apprenticeships with us and subsequently stayed on at the company to support marcapo and the marketing portals in their local success. And of the six apprentices who will graduate in 2022, five will remain with us as skilled workers in the future—a result that makes us proud.

Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Training

Since our commitment to quality extends beyond our marketing portal, we place great emphasis on offering high-quality training programs! Our success is rooted in our dedication, and our trainees already demonstrate this through their commitment. The fact that our expectations for trainees are not too high is proven by the six trainees we were able to congratulate on completing their vocational training in 2022. Among them is Leon Dußold, who was honored by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for his outstanding graduation results. With Katja Sieg, marcapo even had another chamber winner this year—marking the company’s fifth such victory!

A total of 14 apprentices are currently completing their training at marcapo. And the marcapo family keeps growing! This year, too, we’re helping seven new apprentices from three different departments launch their careers, and we’re already looking forward to this exciting journey.
